การใช้ Question tag และการตอบคำถาม

สำหรับการใช้ Question tag นั้น มักจะเป็นประโยคที่เรารู้คำตอบอยู่แล้ว แต่ต้องการคำยืนยันในสิ่งที่เรารู้อยู่แล้ว สำหรับคำตอบนั้นให้เพื่อน ๆ ตอบในความเป็นจริงเสมอ นี้คือหลักการง่าย ๆ ในการใช้ Question tag ลองมาดูคำอธิบายเพิ่มเติมค่ะ

วิธีการถามคำถาม

Auxiliary Verb: Do / Does (to do)
Positive Sentence Question Tag Example: Pichai loves his job so much, doesn’t he?
Negative Sentence Question Tag Example: They don’t go to the beach, do they?

Tense: Present Continuous

Positive Sentence Question Tag Example: Jame is fixing his mobile phone, isn’t he?

การออกเสียงในการถามคำถาม

เราสามารถออกเสียงท้ายประโยคคำถามได้สองรูปแบบคือ

การออกเสียง Question tag ในเสียงต่ำ สำหรับประโยคที่เรารู้อยู่แล้วว่ามันเป็นอย่างไร แต่ต้องการการยืนยัน หรืออยากจะรู้ว่าคู่สนทนารู้สึกแบบเดียวกันหรือไม่

การออกเสียง Question tag ในเสียงสูง สำหรับประโยคคำถามที่เรายังไม่ค่อยชัวร์ 100% แต่ต้องการการยืนยันอีกครั้ง (หรือจะช่วยบอกคำตอบก็ดีนะ)

การตอบคำถาม

ยึดหลักเดียวเท่านั้น คือ การตอบตามความเป็นจริง และให้เราใช้เสียงในการเน้นย้ำคำตอบสำหรับคำถามที่เราไม่เห็นด้วยกับผู้ถาม

The moon goes round the earth, doesn’t it? Yes, it does.

The earth is bigger than the moon, isn’t it? Yes.

The earth is bigger than the sun, isn’t it? No, it isn’t!     (ให้เน้นย้ำความเป็นจริงในเสียงของเราว่า ไม่ โลกไม่ใหญ่กว่าดวงอาทิตย์นะ)

Asian people don’t like rice, do they? Yes, they do!

Elephants live in Europe, don’t they? No, they don’t!

Men don’t have babies, do they? No.

The English alphabet doesn’t have 40 letters, does it? No, it doesn’t.
